In studying ceramics for the past 3 years I've discovered not only how to mould and build with clay, but how to form tangible objects from the mass of ideas and emotions in my own head, being inspired by anything and everything, from simple patterns created by weaving paper to the contours of the human body. 

Recently I have been interested in fairy tales and fantasy with my work taking inspiration from dragons, princesses and magic. I think all of us need to escape for a while, whether into a book or a film, and my work reflects this, with dream-like fantasy sculpture and written stories to accompany pieces. Everyone needs their own bit of magic, and I hope that is what I bring to my pieces.
